Privacy Policy

iLoveContracts (“we”, “us”) provides an informational AI contract-review tool. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what we do not do with your documents.

Short version

  • We do not store your PDF by default.
  • Contract text is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your report.
  • If you create an account, we may save findings and metadata (not the PDF) so you can revisit History.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.
  • This product is not legal advice and is not a law firm.

Information we process

  • Contract content. When you analyze a PDF, text extracted in your browser is sent to our servers and then to Anthropic for analysis. We do not keep the original PDF file on our servers by default.
  • Analysis results. Findings, ContractScore, and related metadata may be cached (keyed by a hash of the input — not the raw text) to avoid re-charging identical analyses, and may be saved to your History if you are signed in.
  • Verbal promises. Optional notes you enter about what you were told are included in the analysis request and may be stored with a History run.
  • Account data. If you sign up (email/password or Google), our auth provider (Supabase) stores your email and auth identifiers.
  • Payment data. Stripe processes checkout. We store payment session identifiers and status needed to unlock an analysis — not full card details.
  • Technical logs. Standard server logs (timestamps, error messages, approximate request metadata) may be retained briefly for reliability and abuse prevention.

AI processing

Analysis is performed by Anthropic’s Claude API under our account. Do not upload documents you are not permitted to share with a processor. See Anthropic’s policies for how they handle API data.

Cookies and sessions

We use cookies/local storage as needed for authentication sessions and to keep a draft upload across Stripe Checkout redirects. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Retention

  • Ephemeral analysis requests: processed to produce your report; PDFs are not retained by default.
  • Signed-in History: kept until you delete your account or ask us to remove it.
  • Payment records: retained as needed for accounting, fraud prevention, and fulfilling purchased analyses.

Your choices

  • Use the product without an account (pay-per-analysis).
  • Sign in only if you want History and the free analysis credit.
  • Contact us to request deletion of account-linked History data (see Contact).

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
